Ido Zoldan was murdered in his car mafia-style with machine-guns delivered to his "palestinian" killers by the Israeli and U.S. government just a week earlier against outraged protests by the area residents. This 29-year-old father of two children (now orphans at the ages of 3 and 1) was forcefully evicted from his home in Chomesh in the summer of 2005 during the drunken surrender of Gush Katif and 4 cities in northern Shomron. In his memory and honor, his family and hundreds of mourners ascended to his beloved (now destroyed) hilltop of Chomesh and renewed their pledge to rebuild the community at the same location.
